SINA GOODMAN DIES AT AGE 73 AT DAUGHTER'S HOME Mrs. Sina Goodman, 73, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. John Shannahan, who lives six miles southeast of Williamsburg. Mrs. Goodman, a daughter of Jens and Maria Rasmussen, was born in Iowa county July 28, 1882. She lived all of her life in or near Williamsburg. She was educated in the rural schools of this county. March 5, 1901, she married Martin W. Goodman Early in life she joined the Presbyterian church in Williamsburg. Later transferred her membership to the Pilot Methodist church. At the time of her death she was a member of the Williamsburg Methodist church. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. John Nye at the Williamsburg Methodist church on Tuesday, Sept. 6. Interment was in Pilot Grove cemetery. Pallbearers were Truman Lortz, Ivor Lortz, Orville Goodman, Merlin Stahl, Everett Lortz and Ervin Lortz. Arrangements were in charge of Jones Funeral Home. She is survived, in addition to Mrs. Shannahan, by two other daughters, Mrs. Ralph W. Lortz and Mrs. Anthony W. Sedacek; one brother, John Rasmussen; two half brothers, Maurice and William Poulson; five grandchildren and 1 one great grandson."
