Description	:	Mr. Snode Allen “S. A.” Paramore, Jr., 89, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 23, 2015 with his family by his side. The funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel by Rev. Kelley Smart and Kendall Paramore, his grandsons and Jack Paramore, his brother. A.” Paramore, Jr., 89, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 23, 2015 with his family by his side. Burial will be in Pinewood Memorial Park with Masonic Rites. Mr. Paramore, son of the late Snode Allen and Alma Lee Dixon Paramore, was a native and life-long resident of Pitt-County. He farmed for all of his life until 1985 when he became employed with Calmaine Foods for 8 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Reedy Branch Free Will Baptist Church. As a Mason, he was a member of Grimesland Masonic Lodge #475. He was also a member of the Greenville York Rite Bodies, the Sudan Temple of New Bern, the Pitt County Shrine Club and the Winterville Redmen Mohican Tribe #56. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Cecil Paramore and Donald Paramore. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Carrie Dail Edwards Paramore; daughters, Mary Lee Smart and husband, Larry, of Greenville and Marjorie Sutton and husband, Richard, of Farmville; son, Snode “Allen” Paramore, III and wife, Sandra, of Mason, OH; four grandchildren, Kelley Smart and wife, Marci, Joseph Sutton and wife, Olivia, Kendall Paramore and wife, Marsha, and Travis Sutton; four great-grandchildren, Danica and Maverick Sutton, Addie Paramore and Kelsie Smart; brothers, Sterle “Jack” Paramore and wife, Zenna, of Burgaw and Darwin Paramore of Winterville; sisters, Alma Joyce Madden and husband, Bill, of Pensacola, FL, Ida Lou Beeker of Grimesland and Becky Moye and husband, Tommy, of Greenville; sisters-in-law, Jo Paramore of Richmond, VA and Marie Everett of Winterville; many nieces and nephews and by his cat, Happy. The family would like to express their appreciation to the many caregivers for their loving help. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home Sunday from 6 – 8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Reedy Branch Free Will Baptist Church, 4464 Reedy Branch Rd, Winterville, NC 28590, the FWB Children’s Home, PO Box 249, Middlesex, NC 27557 or the Shriners Hospitals for Children, c/o Sudan Temple, 403 E. Front St, New Bern, NC 28560.
