Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Sampit Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Causey and Rev. Henry Duncan. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will follow in Sampit United Methodist Church Cemetery. He was born March 22, 1931 in Georgetown County, a son of the late Sollie Lambert and the late Ellen Lambert Lambert. Mr. Lambert was a retired Pentecostal Minister, having served numerous churches during his pastorate. He was also a retired pulpwood producer. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Lamer L. 'Billie' Fulton Lambert of the home; one son, Frankie Lambert and his wife Linda of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Brandy Lambert of Georgetown and Joshua Lambert and his wife Maggie of Georgetown; one great grandchild, Justain Lambert; three step-great grandchildren, Samantha Belusz, Nancy Belusz, and Deborah Belusz; two sisters, Maday Martin of Georgetown and Viola Sanders of Smyrna, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.
