Description	:	The Marengo Republican - Marengo, Iowa Wednesday July 20, 1921 Page 8 "Millersburg" Soloman Eugene Row was born near Millersburg, March 8, 1850 and died at his home in the Southern part of town July 11, 1921, aged 71 years, 4 months and 3 days. September 15, 1872 he was married to Mahana Bolin. To this union were born seven children, three of them, Cara Ellen, William Jackson and Alta Fidelis, preceeded their father in death. He was a man that loved his home and family, rarely leaving ever for a day. Everyone said he was a man that never had an enemy. Always willing to do what he could for others. No man was more thought of where he was known than Uncle Solly. Funeral services were held from the home July 12. conducted by Rev. S.E. Cole. Interment in the cemetery east of town. The entire community extend sympathy to the bereaved wife and children. From Rick Daily
