Harris, which occurred at 5 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Kent Mrs. Harris had been subject to severe sick headache, at times affecting her brain, but she appeared to be in her usual health before retiring Friday night. Harris, which occurred at 5 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Kent Mrs. Harris had been subject to severe sick headache, at times affecting her brain, but she appeared to be in her usual health before retiring Friday night. Her friends say that she had been visibly affected by the death of several of her friends last week and by bidding goodbye to her son, Dr. James H. Harris, of Baltimore, who expected to return home by the early train Saturday morning. She was taken very ill just before the family retired, and in spite of all that could be done, she passed peacefully away about daylight. Mrs. Harris was in her 79th year and for the past quarter of a century lived in Harrisonburg. She was for many years a member of tho Episcopal church and her conduct was such as to recommend her religion to all who knew her. She won many friends by her benevolence. She was modest, meek, and kind, tender in her family and beloved by her friends. She was buried Sunday afternoon from the Episcopal church, which was crowded to its utmost capacity with the friends of the deceased. Rev. Mr. Yerger conducted the services at the church, and Rev. C. R. Cruikshanksreac the burial service at the cemetery. The children of Mrs. Harris take this means of thanking all her friends for their kindness and courtesy. Their sympathy, shown when most needed, is most heartily appreciated.
