Mrs Anderton had been in failing health for a long time and suffered an attack of the flu from which she was not able to recover owing to her weakened condition. Through all her sufferings she seemed resigned to the will of her Master and Lord. She loved her Bible and could surprise many with her knowledge of the work of God. Lord Byron said: "Servant of God, well done, They glorious warefare's past, The battle's fought, the race is won And thou are crowned at last". Sophia Hannah Blade was born February 27, 1879 at Lenderos, Sweden, baptized into the Swedish Lutheran church at Lenderos, Sweden and was an earnest believer in the Holy Bible. She came to the United States in 1886, making her home in Missouri and later returning to Nebraska. She was united in marriage to W. E. Anderton at Maywood, Nebr, in 1892. To this union were born two children, Mrs Mildred Brown and Harry W, Anderton. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs Mildred Brown; her son, Harry W Anderton and two grandchildren, Grace and Edith Brown, all of whom reside in Edgar, Three sister Mrs. C. M. Isaacson of Loomis, Nebr.; Mrs O. F. Sandstrom of Brady, Nebraska; Miss Esther Blade in Sweden also six brothers, three of whom are still in Sweden, Emil Blade, San Francisco; Henning Blade, Brady, Nebr,; and Simon Blade, Edgar; survive her Funeral services were held from the home of Mrs Mildred Brown Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev Fred H Johnson, pastor of the M E church (sic) of Edgar.
