Born in Aynor, SC, she was a daughter of the late Robert Chad and Julia Ann Lilly. Sophia was a member of First Baptist Church of Murrells Inlet. She taught Sunday school for 60 years. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with Reverend Matthew Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Red Hill Methodist Church Cemetery in Aynor, SC. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of Prince George Health Care Center and Regency Hospice.
