XV DIED Mrs. Sophia Jones was a native of Wales, Born in 1822 at a place called Genfrom. She was married to Richard Jones in 1841, four children were born to them, who are living in the vicinity of Burrton. Richard Jones, her husband, died in 1848, leaving her a widow. XV DIED Mrs. Sophia Jones was a native of Wales, Born in 1822 at a place called Genfrom. She was married to Richard Jones in 1841, four children were born to them, who are living in the vicinity of Burrton. Richard Jones, her husband, died in 1848, leaving her a widow. At 27 years of age, she became a member of the Welch Calvinistie Methodist at Crom Rheidol. In 1855 she moved to Festiniog, in North Wales, where she lived with her children for several years. In 1870 she emigrated from there to Emporia, Kan., where she resided about eighteen months. From there she came to Burrton where she has since resided. Her age when she died was 74 years, 1 month and 15 days. There are left to mourn her loss, four children, fourteen grand children and three great grand children. The relatives of Grandma Jones sincerely wish to thank the many kind friends who were with them in their late sad and painful bereavement.
