Description	:	Squire Shelby Sims, 72, died at his home four miles west of Newton, Friday evening, July 16, 1897, at 9 o'clock p.m., aged 72 years. Mr. Sims was born in Indiana March 2, 1825, and moved to Kentucky with his parents while in his youth. In a few years, however, they returned to Indiana, where he was married to Miss Elzie Jane Christy.
