Description	:	STRONG, Sister Catherine Mary (Mother St. Roch) (Catherine Florence) entered Eternal Life on January 17, 2007 in Chatham, Ontario. She was born in Woodslee, Ontario in 1915, the daughter of the late Thomas and Stephanie (Sylvestre) Strong. She entered the Ursuline Religious of the Diocese of London in 1933. During those years she served the Ursuline Community as a teacher at Blessed Sacrament School, Chatham, Essex, Windsor and London; taught kindergarten children at "The Pines" for 20 years and also served as a Library Assistant at Brescia University College, London. She was born in Woodslee, Ontario in 1915, the daughter of the late Thomas and Stephanie (Sylvestre) Strong. She entered the Ursuline Religious of the Diocese of London in 1933. During those years she served the Ursuline Community as a teacher at Blessed Sacrament School, Chatham, Essex, Windsor and London; taught kindergarten children at "The Pines" for 20 years and also served as a Library Assistant at Brescia University College, London. While teaching in Chatham, Sister was a member of Blessed Sacrament choir and the Kent Glee Club. In 2002 Sister returned to the Motherhouse in Chatham. She is survived by a sister-in-law, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by brothers Raymond, Sylvester, Wilfred, Edmund and one sister, Agnes Tracey. Visitation will take place after 2:30 p.m. on Friday January 19 in the Kiva at Villa Angela, Chatham. Relatives and friends are invited to join the Ursuline Community at a prayer service to be held on Friday January 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Kiva at Villa Angela. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday January 20 at 10:00 a.m. in the Kiva at Villa Angela, 20 Merici Way, Chatham. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Donations in memory of sister Catherine Mary may be made to "Chatham Ursuline Charities" or to the charity of your choice. The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham is in charge of arrangements.
