She was the daughter of the late William Constantine Amiro and Ozanne Boudreau. She joined the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity in 1923 and entered her religious profession in 1926. She was the daughter of the late William Constantine Amiro and Ozanne Boudreau. She joined the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity in 1923 and entered her religious profession in 1926. For more than 40 years she was housekeeper in convents in Bermuda, in Edmonton, in Kelowna and in Nova Scotia. After retiring in Meteghan in 1968, she sewed for the Red Cross. She moved to Halifax in 1981. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Edgar, Oscar, James, Gordon and Ernest; and by a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Amiro. Visitation was at the motherhouse of Mount St. Vincent, where the funeral was held on Tuesday April 11th. Father Anthony Mazerolle, C.S.S., chaplain, officiated. Burial was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Lower Sackville.
