Read More	Sister M. Ursula (Julia Walsh), 81, died suddenly at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. J o s e p h, Tipton, Indiana late Sunday evening. During her long life, Sister Ursula has served her community, in many capacities. Among her wide circle of friends, she numbers a host of former pupils and patients. Many citizens of Elwood and Marion, Indiana remember her as their elementary school teacher, while many others in Elwood, Kokomo, Bend, Oregon recall her services as a nurse when they were patients at the Good Samaritan or Villa Maria, Kokomo, Mercy Hospital, Elwood or St. Charles Hospital in Bend, Oregon. Daughter of John and Mary Walsh, Sister Ursula was born March 23,1883 near Fort Wayne, Indiana and entered the Convent of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Tipton in 1900. She has been at the Motherhouse since failing health necessitated her retirement from active duty several years ago. Sister is survived by two brothers, Steve Walsh of Peru, Indiana and Patrick Walsh of Kokomo, an aunt; Mrs. Anna Vanderbosch of Avilla, Indiana and a number of nieces and nephews, among whom are Reverend Thomas Walsh of the Maryknoll Fathers, Sister M. Madonna of Tiptcn, and Sister M. Dorothy of the Maryknoll Sisters. Sister M. Evengelista and Sister M. Celestine, both of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Tipton are cousins. Funeral services will be held at the Motherhouse Chapel, Tipton at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
