He enlisted in the armed forces on March 18, 1944 and was sent overseas in the following December. Besides the parents, he leaves a wife, Mary, of near Troy; two daughters; four stepchildren; three brothers, Harry Bruner, of near Rossburg; Roland Bruner, Union City, and Albert Bruner, Rossburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Lovina Shaner, of Fort Recovery, and Mrs. Onda Gasper, of London, O.
