Description	:	S-5 Walter Lee Brannon, 25, husband of Janice Ruth Inman Brannon of Lockhart, was wounded March 23, 1968, in action against the enemies, near Saigon, Vietnam. He died died in the army hospital March 30, 1968. He volunteered for service in July 1966, and was due to be relieved of active duty in Vietnam in June 1968. Also surviving are a daughter, Penny Renee Brannon; two sons, Walter Craig Brannon and Jeffery Scott Brannnon; eight sisters, Mrs. Sarah Gregory, Mrs. Peggy Walker, Mrs. Brenda Petty, Mrs. Carolyn Rash, Mrs. Juanita Inman, Miss Guynita Brannon, Mrs. Nancy Hope and Mrs. Mary Cox; four brothers, Barney Brannon, Grady Brannon Jr., Arthur Ray Brannon and Clifton Brannon. ************************** You gave your life for our country and you are a true hero and one of America's best.
