Description	:	ASBURY, NC ~ Mrs. Stacie Cardwell Jessup, 83, of Joyce Acres Road passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at her home. Mrs. Jessup was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Stokes County to W.J. "Buck" and Mary King Cardwell. She was a homemaker and of the Primitive Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, John Gid Jessup; her beloved daughter, Nancy Jessup Faries; six brothers; two sisters; and her parents. Read More	ASBURY, NC ~ Mrs. Stacie Cardwell Jessup, 83, of Joyce Acres Road passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at her home. Mrs. Jessup was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Stokes County to W.J. "Buck" and Mary King Cardwell. She was a homemaker and of the Primitive Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, John Gid Jessup; her beloved daughter, Nancy Jessup Faries; six brothers; two sisters; and her parents. Stacie's family recognizes a very special survivor and former son-in-law, Donald R. Faries and spouse Annabelle of Francisco, with sincere gratitude for their continued devotion, love and support over many long years. Also surviving are a sister, JoAnn C. Montgomery of Winston-Salem: a brother, Eugene (Mildred) Cardwell of Greensboro; two sisters-in-law, Medea S. Cardwell and Betty J. Cardwell, both of Winston-Salem; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain by Elder Vance Jones and Elder John Calhoun. Burial will follow at Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Stokes County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and suggests that memorials be made to Northern Hospice of Surry County, 1033 Highway 52, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
