Description	:	Stacy Floyd Gibson "Mr. Gibson, of Charlotte, died July 26, 2007 at the Carriage Club in Charlotte, NC. He had been residing there for two years. He was born on January 18, 1931 in Hamlet, NC to James Floyd Gibson and Dora Gibson. He was a graduate of Hamlet High School and Catawba College. He served four years in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He retired in 1996 from Wachovia Bank and Trust after 28 years with the company. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Angie Gibbs Gibson of Charlotte; one daughter, Susan Gibson Heck and husband, Michael Heck, of Williamsburg, VA; grandchildren, Andrea Kirkley of Williamsburg, Va, Stephanie Rohrbach of Virginia, and James Christopher Gibson of Monroe, NC. He is also survived by his first wife Pat Brown Johnson of the Carriage Club, Charlotte, NC. Stacy Gibson was an avid golfer his entire life. When he retired from Wachovia Bank, he was asked to be on the Golf Course Design Committee for Ballantyne Golf Course, Charlotte. Because of his l0 year illness he never got to play the course. He was grateful for the opportunity to be on the committee and to have an office building named in his honor on the golf course. His ashes were scattered at Ballantyne Golf Course, Charlotte, NC by his family." Published in the Charlotte Observer on 7/28/2007.
