Description	:	FREMONT -- Stanley Von Seggern, 63, of Fremont died Aug. 10, 2017. He was born Nov. 8, 1963, in Fremont and was raised on a farm south of Scribner. Stanley graduated from Scribner High School in 1972 and has lived in Fremont for the past 20 years. Police in Fremont are investigating a fatal crash involving a semi and a passenger vehicle. Police in Fremont are investigating a fatal crash involving a semi and a passenger vehicle. The crash happened late Thursday morning at 2900 West US Highway 30. Fremont Police said 63-year-old Stanley A. Von Seggern of Fremont was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators determined Von Seggern turned north onto Highway 30 from 20 and a quarter Avenue. A 2007 semi-tractor trailer, driven by 68-year-old Merle R. Murray of North Bend, was traveling East on Highway 30. The vehicles collided. Emergency crews were called to the scene around 11 a.m. Von Seggern died at the scene.Police said Murray was not injured. He is survived by daughter, Tracie (Russ) Quinn of Herman; son, Scott (Angie) Von Seggern of Arlington; brother, Roger (Judy) Von Seggern of Scribner; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter. Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com. Private family services will be held. There has been a memorial established.
