Witnesses: Thomas Kush & Doug Robbuck ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Friday, 10 April 1953 FARWELL--Stanley Olsufka, 62, long-time resident of this area, died at his farm home north of here early Thursday morning. Mr. Olsufka, born in Poland June 7, 1891 (sic), came to this country at the age of 15 and settled near Columbus. On Nov. 5, 1918, he married at Silver Creek and came with his wife directly to Howard County. He had farmed in the Farwell-Elba-St. Paul area since. He is survived by his wife, Belle; four sons, Ray, of Sacramento, Calif.; Leonard, Farwell, Cpl. Edward, Camp Pendleton, Calif., and Clifford, at home; six daughters, Mrs. Rose Marie Hart, Mt. Rainer, Md., Mrs. Ellen Valewski, St. Paul, Mrs. Delores Woitjalewicz, St. Paul, Frances, Betty and Loretta, at home; a brother, John, and a sister, Katherine, both in Poland; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:45 a.m. at the Keating Mortuary St. Paul, and at 9:30 at the Mt. Carmel Church with the Rev. Anthony Figlerski offering the requiem mass. Burial will be in the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
