Description	:	Stanley Joseph March passed into eternity May 21, 2018, just 24 days short of being 100 years old at The Hearthstone in York where he had been a resident since January 2018. Stanley was born June 14,1918, the fourth child of Joseph and Laura (Leach) March, in Sioux County. He professed to serve God in 1929 and on October 5, 1939 he gave his life to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was faithful to that vow for the rest of his life. Stanley was born June 14,1918, the fourth child of Joseph and Laura (Leach) March, in Sioux County. He professed to serve God in 1929 and on October 5, 1939 he gave his life to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was faithful to that vow for the rest of his life. He labored in eleven states, his purpose to touch as many lives as possible was attained and many were left knowing his first love was serving his Heavenly Father.Stanley loved telling the story when the Gospel first came to his family around 1912 by Will Wilkie and Frank Wilke, in a county school house in Sioux County.He leaves special memories with many nieces and nephews, co-workers and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha (John) Yung, Dala (Carl) Leonhardt, Clara Myrtle (Carl) Leonhardt; brother, Harold March; half-brothers and sisters-in-law, Uzzel (Helen Sindelar) March, Bill (Edna Howard) March and a half-sister and brother-in-law, Violet May March (Thomas) Demers.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Duane and Brenda Grotz Farm, in the convention meeting building, York, NE. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 8:30 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Council Cemetery, York. Published in the York News-Times, York, Nebraska, May 31, 2018
