Description	:	Stanley Martin Kilcher was born November 14, 1930 near Hawkeye, Iowa in Windsor Township, Fayette County. He is the son of Arnold and Laura Martin Kilcher. He was Baptized (''Christened'') on December 21, 1930, at his grandfather's farm house by the Rev. A. Hugo Lutz of the Zion Lutheran Church, West Union, Iowa. He was told in later years that the weather was cold and forbidding. He was confirmed on April 2, 1944 at the Zion English-Lutheran Church in West Union, Iowa, by Rev. C. Bartels. He is the son of Arnold and Laura Martin Kilcher. He was Baptized (''Christened'') on December 21, 1930, at his grandfather's farm house by the Rev. A. Hugo Lutz of the Zion Lutheran Church, West Union, Iowa. He was told in later years that the weather was cold and forbidding. He was confirmed on April 2, 1944 at the Zion English-Lutheran Church in West Union, Iowa, by Rev. C. Bartels. He graduated from West Union High School in May 1948, went to Iowa State Teacher's College (now known as the University of Northern Iowa) for 6 months and then to Aeronautical University in Chigaco, Illinois in September of 1949. He received and Engineering Certificate on February 1, 1952, after a 2 year course in Aeronautical Engineering which for all practical purposes was equal to a Bachelor of Science Degree. He was employed at McDonnell Aircraft Company (now known as Boeing) on February 21, 1952. He took early retirement in 1990, when McDonnell Douglas Corporation started their big layoffs due to Defense Budget Cutbacks. In those 38 years, he helped do Engineering on the F2H ''Banshee'', the F3H ''Demon'', the F4H ''Phantom II'', the F15 ''Eagle'', andthe F18 ''Hornet'' as well as other Engineering Projects and Studies with various Security Classifications. He married Anna Marie Gutermuth on June 10, 1967 at Friedens Church of Christ, St. Charles Missouri. They have one son, Roland, one daughter, Deborah Klamm, and two grandsons, Michael David Klamm II and Brandon Nicholas Klamm. He has two sisters, the late Mrs. Harold (LaFonda) Wehling and Mrs. Frederick (Sharon) Mallie.
