Mr. Roupp was born July 3, 1925 in Newton, Kan., son of the late John and Lillie (Balmer) Roupp. On Aug.. 8, 1948 he married Roselena Ruth Willems in Greensburg, Kan. Services Whitestone Mennonite Church, Hesston; burial in Eastlawn Cemetery, Hesston. Mr. Roupp was born July 3, 1925 in Newton, Kan., son of the late John and Lillie (Balmer) Roupp. On Aug.. 8, 1948 he married Roselena Ruth Willems in Greensburg, Kan. Mr. Roupp had lived in Goshen since Sept. 2004, coming from Hesston, where he lived most of his life. He, along with brother, Willard owned Hesston Concrete for 40 years. He was a graduate of Hesston Academy and Hesston College and had attended Bethel College, Newton and Boulder University, Colo. He was a member of Whitestone Mennonite Church, Hesston. As a conscientious objector during WWII, Mr. Roupp did Civilian Public Service from 5-30-1944 to 1946 in Marlboro, N.J. and Colorado Springs. He was an advocate and benefactor to many in starting their own businesses and sponsored many immigrant families. He was a charter member of Mennonite Disaster Service, supporter and pillar of the Mennonite Church and longtime supporter of Hesston College. He traveled extensively worldwide and visited all 50 states. Preceded in death by wife, Roselena, June 15, 2005 and brother, Willard. Survivors: daughters, Valerie Helser of Denver, Colo., Sherry (Mark) Jordan of Goshen, Janelle (Steve) Diller of Colorado Springs, Patrice Dunbar of Kelowna, British Columbia; sisters, Ruth M. (Paul) Yutzy of Hutchinson, Elda L. (Adolf) Guhr of Newton; brother, Delbert B. (Joann) Roupp of Lakewood, Colo.; sister-in-law, Elda G. Roupp of Hesston; 7 grandchildren.
