She was married to Edward Baker on November 23, 1939 and they farmed south of Kanawha, Iowa. She moved to Kanawha in 1986. Stella was an active member of the Wright Christian Reformed Church south of Kanawha. Stella is survived by two sons, Lewis Baker and his wife, Marcia of Jenison, Michigan, Albert Baker and his wife, Dawn of Centennial, Colorado; a daughter-in-law, JoAnn Baker of Champlin, Minnesota; six grandchildren: Debra, Tony, Sandra, Sue, Mark and Dana; sixteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Wessels; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Christians and a brother-in-law, Anco Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Baker; two sons, Alvin and Richard Baker; a grandson, Dean Baker; a brother, Henry Christians and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
