Mrs. Elbert Huddleston passed away Friday morning, Oct. 27, at her home in Kaiser, Mo. The Huddleston family had lived there about a year. They had lived in Eldon for 27 years and are well known throughout Miller County. Her health has steadily failed for about five years. She was seriously ill for three weeks prededing her death. Stell C. Stubblefield, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J. W. Stubble field, was born February 17, 1866, at Ulman, Mo. She passed away October 27, 1944. December 31, 1914, she was maried to Elbert Huddleston. One son, Leonard, was born to them. Mrs. Huddleston's parents preceded her in death several years ago. Surviving her is her husband and her son, Leonard of the family home. She leaves a sister, Mr. Della Baker of St. Louis, Mo. and one niece, Mr. R.A. Clark, of Jefferson City, Mo. Besides these loved ones, Mrs. Huddleston leaves many relatives and friends all of whom will sadly miss her. In early life she became a Christian and has since that time lived the life of a good, kind, faithful Christian woman. For a number of years she was a member of the Eldon Christian Church. Later she became a devout member of the New Hope Baptist Church where she remained faithful through life. Mrs. Huddleston had been a member of the Royal Neighbors of America for many years. Funeral services were head at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Wilson of Lebanon, Mo. in charge. At the graveside, a representative of the R.N.A Lodge paid loving tribute to the departed one, placing a spray of flowers on the grave. Interment was made in New Hope Cemetery with Kays Funeral Service directors.
