Stella, wife of Marshal (William Marshall) Stickler, died at her home in this city Sunday morning, April 28th, 1895, aged 24 years 2 months and a few days, with consumption. She leaves a husband and a sweet two year old boy, besides a father, sisters and brothers to mourn her untimely call. Her mother was called to that land beyond the weeping and sorrowing of this life some years ago. Stella, wife of Marshal (William Marshall) Stickler, died at her home in this city Sunday morning, April 28th, 1895, aged 24 years 2 months and a few days, with consumption. She leaves a husband and a sweet two year old boy, besides a father, sisters and brothers to mourn her untimely call. Her mother was called to that land beyond the weeping and sorrowing of this life some years ago. Thus it looks hard that one in the bloom of life should be taken from her family so soon, just as the Morning glory is plucked from the vine when opening to the sparkling rays of the sun. So she has been cut down by the angel of death, and her spirit wafted back on snowy pinions to the God that gave it, while yet in the tender years of womanhood. Her funeral was conducted by Rev. B. F. Shane on Monday morning at 10 o'clock, and she was laid in the new cemetery west of the city, there to sleep the silent sleep of death, until she is awakened on the resurrection day.
