Description	:	Services were set for this morning (Wednesday) at Clemons United Church of Christ for Stella Bryant, 82, of Clemons who died Sunday morning at Marshall County Care Facility. The Rev Harry Lake of Marshalltown will officiate and burial will follow in the Clemons Cemetery. Mrs Bryant had been at the care facility since December 10, and prior to that she had resided in Marengo for about a year. Mrs Bryant had been at the care facility since December 10, and prior to that she had resided in Marengo for about a year. Born Stella Savilla Good, October 19, 1899, near Bangor, she was the daughter of Alva and Fanny Wheelock Good. She received her education in Union. She was married to Joe Henry Bryant on October 14, 1917, at the Bangor Friends Church and they made their home in Clemons. Mr Bryant died in 1965 and also preceding her in death were a son, Vern and a brother, Harold. Mrs Bryant was an active member of the Clemons United Church of Christ, the Ladies Aid of the church, the American Legion and the Gold Star Mothers, firt in Clemons and then in State Center. Surivving is a daughter, Dorothy Duffy of Hemet, CA; a daughter-in-law, Edith Duffy of Conrad; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Bill Good of Ferguson, and a sister, Luella Speas of Union.
