Description	:	It is only tentatively assumed that he was buried here, but his second wife, Annie E. Woodward, and a daughter were buried here in her family cemetery. Both he and his second wife died in the same year. His mother was Frances Woodward Boyd 1784-1871 and father was John Franklin Boyd 1778-1833. It is not clear how his mother was related to the Woodwards here. Although he lived most of his life in Warren County, VA, he was found in Rectortown in the 1880 Census. Widowed Fannie and unmarried Stephen, Jr. shared a house in Front Royal in 1920 and 1920 Censuses. Fannie had children. *** LLO adds: "Stephen's mother Frances Woodward Boyd was related to the Woodwards in the area thru her father. I believe that his first name was Francis. Stephen's first wife was Margaret Northcraft Boyd, who was also his cousin. Her mother-in-law was also her aunt."
