Description	:	Funeral Here Monday for Ralph Irish, 78 Funeral services for Ralph Irish, 78, who died at the local hospital Friday, Jan. 21, after a long illness, were conducted Monday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Edward Keller officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Leonard Clough, Carl Falter, Harlan Good, Ivan Johnson, Harry Lafrenz and Lawrence Blecher. Stephen Ralph Irish, son of Newten and Minnie Irish, was born at Fullerton March 3, 1887. He was baptized at the Fairview Church in 1914 and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in April 1941. In 1912 he was married to Leona Berge, who died in 1930. Five children were born to them. In 1932 he was married to Thelma Finke and to this union one son was born and two daughters, who died in infancy. Mr. Irish and family farmed until moving into Creighton in 1953. Surviving are his wife, Thelma; three sons, Marvin of Seattle, Dean of Albion and Robert of Fremont; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Hanzlik of Niobrara, Mrs. Ruth Serra of Martinez, Calif., Mrs. Gena Rodgers of Lyons; 16 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Andrew Schroeder of Belgrade.
