John Ryding will officiate. Memorials may be directed to FOCUS at Christ Lutheran Church in O'Neill. He died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009. --- He was born Jan. 22, 1962, in Omaha to Harvey L. and Mary Ann Osbon. He was baptized at the New England Congregational Church in Stanton; confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church in Lincoln. He graduated from Central High School in La Crosse, Wis., and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He attended several occupational schools, including mining, safety and received certification as Osbon Appraisal Service with cattle and horses. He was employed as a cowboy and rancher in Washington, Nevada, Wyoming, Texas and Nebraska and saddle and leather maker known as Custom Cowboy Co. LLC in Page and O'Neill. He also worked as a heavy equipment operator in Nebraska and Wyoming. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of O'Neill. Survivors include two sons, Kyle and Jake of Neola, Iowa; a daughter, Kate of Bassett; his mother and stepfather, Jack and Mary Ann Rudebusch Osbon Anderson of Lincoln; a sister, Kaye of Milwaukee, Wis.; a brother, Darryl of Denver, Colo.; half-sister Perriann Stanley of Riverton, Wyo.; a special caring nephew, Ben Stanley of Lander, Wyo., as well as other nieces and nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Osbon, and maternal and paternal grandparents. -Norfolk Daily News
