Harris, in this county, Sunday night, April 26th, aged 29 years. Deceased was a daughter of the late Rev. S.P.J. Harris, and had a large family connection. Beside a brother she leaves two sisters, one living in this county and the other in Nebraska. Miss Harris had for some time served as a trained nurse in leading hospitals of New York and Washington, a position for which she was well suited by nature and experience, and it was only a few months ago that her health gave way to such extent that she was compelled to give up her post and come home for rest and recuperation. But consumption was slowly yet steadily doing its fatal work and she continued to decline until the end came as above stated. Those who knew Miss Sue Harris loved her for her gentleness of nature and purity of character. She was a true Christian and had been a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church since her young girlhood. The funeral was held at her late home Tuesday afternoon Rev. M.D. Hix conducting the service in the presence of a large number of sorrowing friends and relatives. The body was laid to rest in the family burying ground where sleep the remains of those who in years gone by have preceded her to the grave. ------
