Description	:	OBIT 1: S. W. Noe who for a number of years has worked for Charles Switzer and lived in a house there on the farm for the past thirteen years, was found dead Sunday afternoon. He had not been in the best of health, having had a cold, but his condition was not considered serious. Noe of the Charter Oak neighborhood. The funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal church on Wednesday afternoon, with burial in Highland cemetery. Eddyville Tribune, March 25, 1926 ---------------- OBIT 2: Sera Wesley Noe, the son of Jacob and Lydia Noe, was born in Mahaska county September 28h, 1848. He with his brothers and sisters lived at the old homestead several years after the death of both father and mother, later moving to Cedar. Sern lived practically all his life in Mahaska County except eighteen months spent in Seattle, Washington. He made his home with a sister, Mrs. Sam Chitwood, until he began working at the Chas. Switzer home in 1913. He passed away there, after a brief illness, March 21st, 1926, at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 23 days. He was a kind-hearted, hard-working man. He is survived by two brothers, Jonathan of Oskaloosa and Henry of Givin, the rest of the brothers and sisters having preceded him in death. The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, March 24th, from the Methodist Episcopal church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.W. Gruber. Interment was made in Highland cemetery.
