Description	:	SUSAN ADA (ELLIS) HOLLOWELL, of Dollar, TN, was born May 12, 1870, departed this life July 25, 1942; age 72 years 2 months and 18 days. She was married to Henry Jasper Hollowell Sept. 18, 1889, and to this union were born six children, three boys, Chester of Bruceton, and Arlie and Eulis of Buena Vista; three girls, Mrs. Mertie Hargrove of Buena Vista, Mrs. Media Kilgore of Bon Aqua, and Mrs. Sallie Flowers of Buena Vista; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was married to Henry Jasper Hollowell Sept. 18, 1889, and to this union were born six children, three boys, Chester of Bruceton, and Arlie and Eulis of Buena Vista; three girls, Mrs. Mertie Hargrove of Buena Vista, Mrs. Media Kilgore of Bon Aqua, and Mrs. Sallie Flowers of Buena Vista; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She professed faith in Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Comfort Baptist Church, and lived a faithful member until death. She often spoke of her readiness and willingness to meet her savior. She bore her sickness with much patience. She was a loving companion and a devoted mother. Children, Mother is at rest and it will never be home complete again, but weep not as for those who have no hope. All that loving hands could do was done, but God knows best. Funeral services were in charge of Rev. Walter Joyner, and interment was had at Mt. Comfort Cemetery. Her parents were George W. Ellis and Nancy Ann Ellis, who are buried in the Ellis Cemetery near Holladay, TN. Contributed by Janet Ross.
