Description	:	These graves, marked only by fieldstones at head and foot, are located on the Russell Foss (former Jackson Place) property on a side hill near the road. In the 1940's two Hiram teen-age boys dug into the graves under the impression that they contained Indian remains and artifacts. A skull and jawbone were removed and taken to Walter Poor, who identified them as those of one of the Slopers. The bones were replaced.
