Anna Susan Heaton Anna Susan, daughter of John and Mary Little, was born in Bates County, Missouri on December 23, 1876, and passed away at the University hospital at Iowa City, November 10, 1930, at the age of 54 years 10 months and 16 days. Anna Susan Heaton Anna Susan, daughter of John and Mary Little, was born in Bates County, Missouri on December 23, 1876, and passed away at the University hospital at Iowa City, November 10, 1930, at the age of 54 years 10 months and 16 days. She came to Iowa with her parents when a little girl, making their home near Marysville, Iowa. She had spent her entire life in the neighborhood of Marysville and Bussey. She was united in marriage to William A Heaton on October 20, 1896. To this union twelve children were born, three of whom with the husband have preceeed her in death. About twelve years ago she was converted and united with the Bussey M.P. church where she remained a member in good standing until she went to her reward. She leaves to mourn her passing, five sons, Gary, Charles, Clifford, Edward of Bussey, and William of Knoxville; and four daughters, Mrs. Dollie Jones, Mrs. Alta Weldon, and Eva of Bussey, and Mrs. Anna Worrell of Knoxville; eleven grandchildren, one sister. Mrs. Jane Dufner, of Marysville, and four brothers, Jeff, George and Arthur of Pershing, and William of Harvey, besides many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Marysville M.E. church, Thursday, November 13, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. r.S. Tague, assisted by Rev. Andy James of Bussey.
