Description	:	Susan (Bock) Ingram, 83, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Avamere in Lexington where she had been residing since October of 2016. Susan was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Portia J.(Jeffrey) Bock and Louis E. Bock on November 19, 1934. She attended Biehl Elementary School, the same elementary school her granddaughters, Amber (Ingram) Lawrence and Ashley Ingram attended 35 years later. Susan was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Portia J.(Jeffrey) Bock and Louis E. Bock on November 19, 1934. She attended Biehl Elementary School, the same elementary school her granddaughters, Amber (Ingram) Lawrence and Ashley Ingram attended 35 years later. Louis, Portia, Susan’s older sister Sandra, and Susan moved to Lexington in approximately 1942. There Susan and Sandra spent their childhood riding horses to Jeffrey Island and to school. Susan graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1952. She attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and aspired to be a grade school teacher. She was a legacy member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Susan was baptized at Bufflao Grove Presbyterian Church in rural Lexington. She was married to Harold Dwain (Tor) Ingram on August 23, 1953. To this union Susan and Tor were blessed with three children, Jeffrey (Paula) of Overton, Pamela (John) Knapple of Lexington and John (Terri) of Omaha. They raised their three children in Lexington. In 1975 they moved to a home on the Overton Golf course. Susan loved to play golf. Her later father-in-law, Del Ingram taught her to play golf. As Tor’s health deteriorated, they then moved to Kearney in 2001. There she took care of her husband until his passing. She taught piano lessons to neighborhood children. She enjoyed her eight years of summer work as a tour guide at Kearney I-80 east bound rest area. The highlight of this work was when the Archway was completed and the new Kearney east interstate 80 exit ramp was dedicated. She was honored to be in a picture as a Tour Guide with former Governor Dave Heineman and Senator Deb Fischer. Susan spent many days with her grandchildren, or traveling to attend various events that her grandchildren participated in. Her grandchildren include Amber Ingram Lawrence and husband Gabe of Stuttgart, Germany, Ashley Ingram of Omaha, Tom Ingram and wife Judy of Appleton, Wisconsin, Laura Ingram of Omaha, Brook Wind of Champaign, Illinois and Travis Wind of Kearney. Susan loved her great-grandchildren: Hailey Ingram, Kendall Lawrence, Walker Lawrence, Dawson Lawrence, Torren Wind and Krosby Wind. Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Portia in December of 1972, her father, Louis in January of 1973, her only sister, Sandra Bock Kalajian of Princeton, New Jersey, in July of 2000 and her husband Tor on April 20, 2003. A celebration Of Life will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Lexington with Pastor Eddie Mariel, officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Reynolds-Love funeral Home in Lexington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
