Her F.A.G. memorial is 7726402, and I've requested a link, but it hasn't happened yet. In 1955, John married Elizabeth McKee Bonwell (1815-1897). She's the one who is buried with him in Iowa. That's why the dates don't match up -- it's the husband buried with his second wife. Susan's mother was the first wife. Hope this helps. Your memorial is fine, but, just in case you get into this, as I did, you'll see that there were a Charles Bonwell (born 1851) and a William E. Bonwell (born 1852) attributed as sons of John Bonwell. Since John's first wife died in 1848, and he didn't marry the second wife until 1855, I doubt that Charles and William were children of the second wife. It's unlikely that they would have had two illegitimate sons before marrying in 1855. I think a more logical explanation might turn out to be that Charles and William were nephews of John who came to live with him and have been mistaken for sons of his.
