BOETTCHER Susan Kathryn Craigmyle was born near Oak Dale August 19, 1861 and died at Shelbyville Friday, July 11. 1919. She was married to C. F. Boettcher March 7, 1889. She was the mother of one child, a daughter, who died in infancy. Later four orphan children were adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Boettcher, two of whom have passed away. The two surviving are Mrs. Roy Bailey of this city, and Mrs. Homer Turner, near Shelbyville. She also leaves a husband, and two brothers, John and Fred Craigmyle, near Oak Dale. She united with the Methodist church at Oak Dale when about twelve years old and has lived the life of a consecrated christian ever since and she will be greatly missed from the community in which she lived. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Shelbyville Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. W. Tanquary. Burial in the Masonic cemetery. She is survived by her husband and two of the four foster children they reared, one of them being Mrs. Roy Bailey of this city.
