Description	:	Mrs. Susan Marie Buelin Hutchens of Boonville passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at her home. She was 63. Mrs. Hutchens was born May 25, 1947, in Surry County to Roscoe and Florence Masey Buelin. She was a member of United Fellowship Church of Boonville. She was a wonderful housewife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hutchens was preceded in death by a son, Donald Gray Hutchens; a granddaughter, Melanie Ann St. John; six brothers, Jerry, James, Jack, Bobby, Rex, and Bill Buelin; and a sister, Vertamae Norman. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Donald Hutchens of the home; four children, Ann Brown and husband Tony of Yadkinville, Hope St. John and husband Jason of Fall Creek, Ronnie Hutchens and wife Kim of Boonville, and Darrell Hutchens of Boonville; three sisters, Carolyn Crabb and husband David of Boonville, Gabriel Durham of Jonesville, and Peggy Buelin of Lone Hickory; four brothers, Harold Buelin and wife Brenda of Lone Hickory, Terry Buelin of Lone Hickory, Robert Buelin of Boonville, and Aaron Buelin of Courtney; sisters-in-law; Shirley Boger of Lone Hickory, Dorothy Buelin of Jonesville, Leonha Buelin of Salisbury, Cathy Buelin of Yadkinville, and Jean Buelin of Mocksville; a brother-in-law, Oach Norman of Hamptonville; 12 wonderful grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and extended family, Brent, Robin, Jared, Amy, Laila, Allison, and Katie Hawks. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at United Fellowship Church with Rev. Ronnie Baity, Rev. James Milham, and Rev. Dave Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family wishes to thank friends, family, and the staff of Hospice for all their love, care, and support during Mrs. Hutchens illness.
