Description	:	Susan Marie Williams May 15, 1957 - November 18, 2017 West Amana- Susan Marie Williams was born May 15, 1957, the daughter of Thomas and Alta Marie (McDonald) Lillis. She graduated from Williamsburg High School. Susan was united in marriage to Peter John Williams on August 22, 1981 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williamsburg. Peter died in 1998. Susan later met Tim Kleinmeyer which has been her friend and companion for 18 years. She had worked in all aspects of the Hotel industry for most of her life. Read More	Susan Marie Williams May 15, 1957 - November 18, 2017 West Amana- Susan Marie Williams was born May 15, 1957, the daughter of Thomas and Alta Marie (McDonald) Lillis. She graduated from Williamsburg High School. Susan was united in marriage to Peter John Williams on August 22, 1981 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williamsburg. Peter died in 1998. Susan later met Tim Kleinmeyer which has been her friend and companion for 18 years. She had worked in all aspects of the Hotel industry for most of her life. She enjoyed taking care of others and volunteering for Safe Haven of Iowa County. Susan passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics at the age of 60 years. She is survived by two brothers: Charles (Bonnie) Lillis of Marion and Gary Lillis of Keystone; four nieces and nephews: Sean (Sara) Lillis of Cedar Rapids, Brooke (Matthew) Schefers of Robins, Kacey Boone of Atkins and Andy Lillis of Keystone and a number of great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Peter and a brother Timothy Lillis. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oxford. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Williamsburg. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg, were there will be a prayer service at 7:00 pm. There will also be visitation from 9:00 until service time at the church on Wednesday. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Safe Haven of Iowa County.
