Description	:	Susan Marie Buck, age 94, of Northfield, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009 at Redeemer Residence in Minneapolis. Susan was born June 4, 1914, in Dalmeny, Saskatchewan, Canada, daughter of David and Eva (Schultz) Lutke. She came to the U.S. in 1915 and settled with her family on a farm in the Lambert, Mont., area where she attended school. In 1934 Sue married Robert Henry Buck in Sidney, Mont. Read More	Susan Marie Buck, age 94, of Northfield, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009 at Redeemer Residence in Minneapolis. Susan was born June 4, 1914, in Dalmeny, Saskatchewan, Canada, daughter of David and Eva (Schultz) Lutke. She came to the U.S. in 1915 and settled with her family on a farm in the Lambert, Mont., area where she attended school. In 1934 Sue married Robert Henry Buck in Sidney, Mont. The couple farmed first in the Lambert area and then in the Bozeman, Mont., Gallatin Valley where they also raised four children. Following retirement in 1978 they moved to Roseburg, Ore., and wintered in Arizona. After Robert's death, Sue moved to Minnesota in May 1988 and lived with her daughter until 2000 at which time she moved to the Northfield Retirement Community. Susan is survived by her daughters, Janice Friesen of Farmington, Minn., and Nancy Reibling of Shelby Township, Mich.; son, Ray Buck of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at the Bierman Funeral Home in Northfield. Interment will be in the Lambert Cemetery in Lambert, Mont. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Wednesday at the Bierman Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements by the Bierman Funeral Home of Northfield.
