Description	:	Susan was the daughter of Everett Ritter Sr and Charlotte Smith, who married in Tennessee, in 1822. She was the sister of Francis Marion (Frank) Ritter and Margaret Ritter. She was the half sister of Issac Anderson Ritter, John Newton Ritter, Everett Ritter Jr., William Anderson Ritter, Mahala Ritter Brown, Arthor Halon Ritter, and Benjamin Franklin Ritter. Mrs. Gray states "The current fenced portion of Cardiff Cemetery has 6 graves marked with rocks. It has been remembered by early settlers of this area that this cemetery was large and many other graves have been claimed by fields." Mrs. Gray states on page 38 that Susan Ritter Bottoms is buried at the Cardif Cemetery and that she died proior to 1889. The grave information for Susan Bottoms was given by Mrs. Gertrude Newberry, life long resident of this area,(now deceased) Doris Gentry Bottoms, and confirmed by other early settlers.
