Description	:	Susan "Sis" Runell Gooding Terry, of Brunson, departed this life on the morning of March 7, 2010, after an extended illness. Born March 21, 1924 in Brunson in the Pondtown Community, she was the daughter of the late Homer Albert Gooding and Alice Lee Terry Gooding. Sis had retired as a seamstress with Estill Manufacturing Company and was a member of St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church in Hampton. She will be remembered by family and friends as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Married to the late Arthur Bertrum "Bert" Terry, Sr., she is survived by one son, Bertrum Terry and wife Betty of Hampton; two daughters, Jackie Bass and husband Jerry of North Augusta, SC and Susan Murdaugh and husband Vernon of Hampton; and two sisters-in-law, Norine Terry of Brunson and Addie Mae Gooding of Hampton; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by five brothers, Amos, Horace, Woodrow, Ernest and J. C. Gooding. Interment was in Rivers Cemetery.
