Description	:	On Monday, April tenth 1911 Mrs. Susanna Du Bois Cambier passed away. She suffered a stroke of paralysis on Saturday and death came on Monday. Deceased was born October fourth 1843 in the Netherlands. She came to the United States early in 1867 and was united in marriage on July fourth of that year at Elmira, New York to John Cambier. This union was blessed with seven children, six of whom survive. In 1881 Mr. and Mrs. Cambier came to Sioux County and settled on a farm near Alton. On February second 1901 John Cambier passed away. ... Read More	On Monday, April tenth 1911 Mrs. Susanna Du Bois Cambier passed away. She suffered a stroke of paralysis on Saturday and death came on Monday. Deceased was born October fourth 1843 in the Netherlands. She came to the United States early in 1867 and was united in marriage on July fourth of that year at Elmira, New York to John Cambier. This union was blessed with seven children, six of whom survive. In 1881 Mr. and Mrs. Cambier came to Sioux County and settled on a farm near Alton. On February second 1901 John Cambier passed away. Three years later Mrs. Cambier left the farm and made her home in Alton. The funeral services were held on Wednesday and were conducted by Rev. J.P. De Jong. Deceased is survived by two brothers and two sisters and sis children - Jake, Peter, Mrs. John Mason, Mrs. Evert Scholten, Jennie and John - all of Alton and vicinity. Miss Virginia Jones of Sioux City attended the services. Alton Democrat - 15 April 1911
