Description	:	Dows - Mrs. Susie K. Denger, 66, died last Thursday in the Lutheran Hospital at Hampton where she had been since the Monday before suffering with heart disease. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Dows Methodist Church. The Eastern Star services were given in the Fairview Cemetery. She was born near Paxton, Illinois on September 26, 1873. She married George Daniel Denger. They farmed in Indiana and South Dakota before locating in Iowa, about six miles southwest of Dows where they purchased the farm which has been their home for the past 30... The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Dows Methodist Church. The Eastern Star services were given in the Fairview Cemetery. She was born near Paxton, Illinois on September 26, 1873. She married George Daniel Denger. They farmed in Indiana and South Dakota before locating in Iowa, about six miles southwest of Dows where they purchased the farm which has been their home for the past 30 years. Mr. Denger died 11 years ago. Their oldest son, Joseph P. Denger, for many years a banker at Galt, died last April. She leaves six children: Clarence and Stanley Denger of Galt; Ralph Denger of Dows; Mrs. Rose Ellefson of Alden; Ray Denger on the home farm and Roy Denger, superintendent of schools at Scranton.
