Description	:	Suzanne Bobbette "Sue" (Fitch) Winkler Erickson,passed away, January 11, 2003, at her home south of Holdrege, Nebraska. Sue was born Jananuary 17, 1935, in Omaha, Nebraska to Robert and Nadine (Cloidt) Fitch. They lived in Plattsmouth, Nebraska for a short time and moved several times before settling in Holdrege, Nebraska in 1947. She graduated from Holdrege High School in 1953. On January 24, 1954, she married Robert Winkler. They lived in Holdrege, Nebraska and she worked as an office nurse at the Holdrege Hospital for Doctors Peterson, Reiner and Prems. On January 24, 1954, she married Robert Winkler. They lived in Holdrege, Nebraska and she worked as an office nurse at the Holdrege Hospital for Doctors Peterson, Reiner and Prems. She was later trained as a lab technician. In the early 1970s, she returned to work at the Family Medical Clinic. Her husband Robert Winkler passed away on December 13, 1992. On Dec. 20, 1997, she married Richard Erickson. They lived on The Erickson Farm south of Holdrege Nebraska. They enjoyed traveling and gardening together. Sue was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Holdrege and had been active in church circle and committees. She was active with Band Mothers, 4-H Council, Eastern Star and Extension Club. Survivors are: husband, Richard Erickson; sons, Kurt Winkler of Wilcox, Nebraska and Wade Erickson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter, Kristi Phipps of Fort Collins, Colorado; brothers, Jay Fitch of Flagstaff, Arizona, and Jack Fitch of Duncan, Nebraska; and six grandchildren. In addition to her first husband, Robert Winkler, she was preceded in death by: parents and a granddaughter. Interment was in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Holdrege, NE.
