Read More	Sylvia Johnson Watertown Public Opinion (SD) - Wednesday, June 2, 2004 WEBSTER - Sylvia Johnson, 93, of Webster died Monday, May 31, 2004 at a hospital in Aberdeen. Sylvia Lucille Donat was born on Oct. 24, 1910, to Wenzel and Lena (Deutschman) Donat on the family farm in Raritan Township, Day County, north of Webster. She attended country school near her home and lived and helped on the family farm until her marriage. On Sept. 8, 1929 she married Joseph Johnson at Aberdeen. After their marriage the couple made their home and farmed the Johnson family farm in Kidder Township, north of Holmquist. She worked at Bethesda Home and Day County Hospital in Webster for many years. The couple moved to Webster in 1984. Mr. Johnson died in April 1998. After his death she continued to live in her own home until the present time. She was a member of Jehovah's Witness and attended worship at Kingdom Hall in Webster and later in Aberdeen. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include four sons, Charles (Ann Marie) Johnson of Aberdeen, Gary Johnson of Roslyn, Harlan (Judy) Johnson of Watertown, and Bob (LaVonne) Johnson of Frederick; five daughters, Betty (Laverne) Bjerke of Webster, Janice (Ordean) Torgerson of Sun City, Ariz., Judy (Larry) Picht of Watertown, Echo (Charles) Flagstad of Wyoming, Minn., and Kathy (Eugene) Ausland of Andover; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
