Description	:	Mrs. Syvilla Flowers KENTON, April 15 - Mrs. Syvilla Flowers, 82, of Washington-tp, Hardin-co, mother of Earl Flowers and Mrs. Jesse Ford of Lima, died in the home of a daughter, Mrs. August Willeke, late Thursday. Her death was attributed to a heart attack after a two-week illness. Born in Hardin-co Feb. 3, 1862, as Syvilla Wolf, she married John Flowers in 1885. He died April 12, 1915. Her death was attributed to a heart attack after a two-week illness. Born in Hardin-co Feb. 3, 1862, as Syvilla Wolf, she married John Flowers in 1885. He died April 12, 1915. She was a member of Kenton First Evangelical Reformed church. Surviving are: four daughters, Mrs. Lillie Fleece, Carey; Mrs. Ida Wilcox, Kenton; Mrs. Jesse Ford, Lima, and Mrs. August Willeke of Dola; one son, Earl of Lima; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Feister, and Mrs. James Smith, both of Kenton; one brother, Willie Wolf, Kenton; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One son, Howard W. died Oct. 26, 1941. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Porter funeral home, Kenton, with Rev. H. E. Pfister, pastor of St. John Evangelical Reformed church, in charge. Burial will be in McDonald-Fairview cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. (published in The Lima News, Saturday, April 15, 1944, page 2)
