Description	:	Teddy Fernau died at the age of 61 at his home, in Fremont, Nebraska of natural causes. He was formerly from Shell Rock, Iowa and settled in Fremont one year before his death. He was the son of Fern (Bouslaugh) Fernau and Lyman Lester Fernau. Teddy attended school in Butte, Nebraska until his family moved to Iowa in March of 1959. He was dedicated to Christ on May 5th, 1946. He married Joyce Clewell in Waverly, Iowa on August 21st, 1961. They had three children together, a daughter Jolette and two sons, Stan and Lanny. He was formerly from Shell Rock, Iowa and settled in Fremont one year before his death. He was the son of Fern (Bouslaugh) Fernau and Lyman Lester Fernau. Teddy attended school in Butte, Nebraska until his family moved to Iowa in March of 1959. He was dedicated to Christ on May 5th, 1946. He married Joyce Clewell in Waverly, Iowa on August 21st, 1961. They had three children together, a daughter Jolette and two sons, Stan and Lanny. Teddy farmed around the Clarksville area of Iowa until March of 1970, when they moved to Meadow Grove, Nebraska, where he continued to farm untill June of 1982. He moved back to Iowa to farm with his parents until 1990. After farming he became a Security Guard at Koehring and managed a fertilizer plant in Shell Rock, Iowa. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Pleasent Valley, Iowa, where he served in the Brotherhood. He enjoyed playing dart ball, he also was a fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Iowa Hawkeyes. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyman Fernau. He is survived by: His mother Fern Farnau of Newton, Iowa, six sisters-JoAnn Norwood, Janice Dietz, Jeanette Woodman, Debbie Lance, Sandy Nieman, and Tammy Wilson. Also his three children, Jolette Henry of Tilden, Nebraska, Stan Fernau of Blair, Nebraska, and Lanny Fernau of Arlington, Nebraska. Plus 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
