Description	:	Mrs. George Huisman, esteemed resident in the Kamrar community, died at 9 o'clock last Friday evening, after an illness of two years or more from dropsy and heart trouble. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at one o'clock at the home and at 1:30 at the German Presbyterian church; the pastor, Rev. H. F. Sinning, being the officiating clergyman. Tenna, daughter of Ben and Gertie (Blane) De Vries, was born April 18, 1886, near Ackley, Iowa, and died July 2, 1937, at the age of 51 years, 2 months and 14 days. She married George Huisman at Ackley February 29, 1912, and they lived in the Ackley community until in the year 1918 when they moved to Hamilton county and lived in this community since that time. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Huisman; one son, Harvey, having died in 1923. She is survived by her husband and seven children: Fred Huisman and Mrs. Gertie Greenfield, who both live near Kamrar; and Lillian, Benhard, Emma, Harley and Treva, all at home. Other survivors include two brothers, Jerry De Vries and Ben De Vries, both of Ackley; four grandchildren, and many other relatives. She was baptized and confirmed in the German Presbyterian church at Ackley. A wide circle of friends of Mrs. Huisman and her family extend sincere sympathy to the sorrowing husband and children in their bereavement.
