Terry was born at Kansas City, Missouri on September 3, 1943 to Eugene Stephen and Vivian Loretta (Boles) Arthur. He married Patricia Ann Newton on May 3, 1981 at Camden, Missouri and she survives him. He was a 1961 graduate of Van Horn High in Independence. He had worked as an engineer for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, was a member of the B of LE, Shrine Club in Kansas City, former member of NRA, former scout leader, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife Patricia Arthur of the home in Marceline, two sons, Craig Arthur, and Terry Arthur, both of Independence, and two grandsons, Brian and Mark Arthur. There will be no services held. He was a graduate of Van Horn High School in Independence, Missouri. He had worked as an engineer for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway until his retirement after 36 years. Terry was a member of the B of LE Shrine Club in Kansas City, former member of NRA, former scout leader, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was survived by his wife, Patricia Arthur, of the home in Marceline, MO, who died Nov. 27, 2013; two sons, Craig Arthur and Terry Arthur, both of Independence, MO; two grandsons, Brian and Mark Arthur; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute, Kansas. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is in charge of local arrangements. ==============
