Description	:	Terry Elden Cook passed away peacefully at the Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center in Boston, Mass., on August 31, 2016. He was born on March 14, 1942, and raised in Tacoma, Wash. He was adopted by his incredible parents, Elden and Elnora (Hunter) Cook, who raised him in their lakeside cabin, which fostered his love for the outdoors and fishing. Read More	Terry Elden Cook passed away peacefully at the Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center in Boston, Mass., on August 31, 2016. He was born on March 14, 1942, and raised in Tacoma, Wash. He was adopted by his incredible parents, Elden and Elnora (Hunter) Cook, who raised him in their lakeside cabin, which fostered his love for the outdoors and fishing. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Washington and attended Mount Ida College and Bentley College. In his 30s, Terry moved to Massachusetts to start a life with his wife, Margaret, after having met through their mutual employer at the time, Chesterton. He went on to work as the V.P. for title insurance agencies in Boston and continued his career in real estate until his passing, most recently as the founder of Neighborhood Realty Partners. Above all, Terry will be remembered for his kindness and compassion for every person he encountered. He enjoyed nothing more than to share stories, life lessons, and to learn about your life. He was an avid fisherman, a Boston sports fanatic, a master of pancake shapes, a lover of all things Alaskan, and a prankster who would do anything to get a laugh. Terry was Mr. Christmas, loving everything about the holiday and sharing it with his family. If you knew Terry, you are a better person because of it. Terry loved spending time with his wife, Margaret, and the beautiful life they made together. "Papa" to his grandchildren, whose smiles he lived for, he was also the most supportive and admirable father who taught by example of love and respect. His loss will leave a hole in the hearts of those who loved him deeply forever. He leaves behind his favorite person on this earth, his loving wife of 38 years, Margaret (Lentini) and their devoted children, Nicole Gallant and her husband, Christopher of Atkinson, N.H. and Justin Cook and his wife, Marcie (Rondeau) of North Andover, Mass. He also leaves behind his children, Cheryl Webber and her husband, Christopher and his son, Terry Cook, Jr., all of Washington. The lights of his life were his grandchildren, whom will carry on his legacy of light and love in their hearts forever, Aidan and Madelynn Cook, Charlotte and Jackson Gallant, and Daniel and Shannon Luquette. He was adopted along with his devoted brother, William Cook. Terry was proud to share stories of how he was one of 18 siblings and their extended family from all across the country. Along with William and his wife, Pat, Terry is survived by Helen Maxine Jerome and her husband, Phillip; Norma Woody and her husband, Lloyd; Charles Carrick and his wife, Ja'net; Larry Thorsness and his wife, Joan; David Whiteman and his wife, Kandi; Delores Pritchett; R. Paul Rodriguez; Betty McCrary; and Jennean Waliser-Lowery and her husband, Mike. He was predeceased by siblings Robert Jerome, Shirley Jerome, Raymond Jerome, Arthur Eugene Jerome, Myrna Biede, Richard Jerome and Arthur Rodriguez. Terry also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Marie (Taibi) Lentini; brother and sister-in-law, James and Paula Delmonte, and their children, Michael and Matthew Delmonte; many nieces, nephews; and five great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover on Wednesday, September 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. at Conte Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Ridgewood Cemetary, North Andover. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MSPCA to honor Terry's love for animals, especially his favorite dogs, Ginger, Jake, Tedy, Willie and his forever sidekick, Brady.
